The Tastee-freeze at Strasburg advertised hamburgers for 25 cents when this photo was taken in the 1950s. The store was located on the south side of East King Street, just east of the present day Town Hall. A sign on the side of the building announces that “Eating Out is Fun,” and the sign atop the store bragged that it offered rest rooms and parking. Old photos are needed to continue this series. Readers who have old photos of landmarks or events and who are willing to loan them are asked to bring them to the newspaper office on U.S. 11, south of Woodstock. Photos loaned will be promptly retutned.
