The men around this table were frequent guests at Little Macís Restaurant on South Main Street in Woodstock for what were billed as Shrimp Feasts during the 1950s. John (Mac) McClure (standing) was the proprietor. (The restaurant, opened in the 1940s, was known as Little Macís because Macís Truck Center, just south of Woodstock on U.S. 11, was often referred to as Big Macís.) Those at the table (from left) are Woodstock Police Chief John Keller, local attorney R. D. Bauserman, unknown, Buck Shrum, Robert Henry, B. B. Bly, unknown and Mac McCormick. Bauserman had been commonwealthís attorney, Shrum was a farmer, Henry a plumber, Bly operated a service station downtown and McCormick and his wife owned and operated The Woodstock Newsstand.
